Senior Group Changes
Please have your senior swimmers read this with you :) Seniors this year are last years’ Junior 3s and up.
With such a big Senior group this year who are at many different places in their training and in their lives, we wanted to give swimmers opportunities to OPT-IN to the schedule that works best for them. We will also offer a little bit of extra in-depth coaching each session for our swimmers to get the most out of their season.
Senior 1 and 2 swimmers: This year, you can create your own morning schedule. Choose the mornings that suit you best. If Tuesday nights are hectic, consider opting for Tuesday or Thursday mornings instead. If scheduling isn't an issue, select the strokes you'd like to improve on—challenge yourself or make mornings easier by choosing your favorites. You can adjust your schedule each session, adding or dropping days based on your commitment. These practices are listed as FOCUS practices on the schedule (Tuesday: Free/Back, Wednesday: Fly/Breast, Thursday: IM).
On the schedule you’ll also see Foundational practices - these practices are the backbone of your program and how we make sure you get everything you need to succeed. These practices are mandatory and cannot be “swapped” with a morning focus practice.
Mastery Mondays: 2x/session, swimmers will be invited in small groups to come in Monday mornings from 6:30-8:00am to do an in-depth video and technical session. Schedule will be announced shortly after registration, and if it’s a Monday that doesn’t work, you can swap with a swimmer from another group.
