Important: Swimmers will need a lap counter—usually a parent, grandparent, older sibling, or family friend. If you aren’t able to provide one, please reach out ahead of time so we can assign someone to help. Please note: no outdoor shoes or food on the pool deck.

Swimmers do not need to have raised any money in order to swim. The Swim-a-Thon is an awesome training opportunity and a fantastic way for swimmers to test their endurance and track their growth over the years. Whether it’s your first Swim-a-Thon or your fifth, we’re excited to see how far you can go!

Here’s the schedule. Reminder: start times listed are in-water start times. Swimmers should arrive at least 10 minutes early for activation before they swim.

Novice – 30 Minute Swim
Thursday, May 22 (LAP Pool, during regular practice times). 

  • Group A: 3:50–4:20 PM
  • Group B: 4:30–5:00 PM
  • Group C: 5:10–5:40 PM

Super Novice – 1 Hour Swim
Thursday, May 22
Swimmers please arrive on deck 10 minutes early for activation/warm up

  • Group A: 3:45–4:45 PM
  • Group B: 4:45–5:45 PM

Junior 1 & Junior 2 – 2 Hour Swim
Friday, May 23 – 3:45–5:45 PM
Swimmers please arrive on deck 10 minutes early for activation/warm up

Junior 3 & Seniors – 2 Hour Swim
Saturday, May 24 – 9:45–11:45 AM
Liz will lead a long warm-up and prehab dryland from 9:00–9:30 AM

 

Any swimmers who cannot make their rosters scheduled swim will swim their Swim-a-Thon during practice the following week. Unfortunately this means they will not have the full alotted time for the event, so we encourage all swimmers to come out and participate during their groups scheduled time.
