Frost Fest Swim Meet - SIGN UP DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 22 AT NOON.
Our annual home swim meet! We spend so much of the season traveling to other pools to race, and now it's our turn to host. We will have teams from Quesnel, Prince George and Kamloops joining us this year.
Open to all pre-competitive and competitive swimmers (Super Novice, Swim Fit, Juniors, Seniors). Note for pre-competitive Blue Fins: Swimmers are encouraged to "favourite" the events they'd like to swim or indicate in the notes section, but ultimately the coaches will choose events for swimmers based on their ability level. For some of our newer swimmers, this may mean only a few events throughout the weekend.
*ALL swimmers must have had their registration processed through SportLomo/REMS and be in active status in order to participate. You will have received an email in November (and again in December and January if it hadn't been completed) asking you to sign waivers and make sure your information is up-to-date. Any swimmers who are not registered as active will not be able to compete at our meet.
SIGN UP DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 22 AT NOON. If you know you are coming, please sign up early. This is not the kind of event we can easily accommodate last minute entry's into, so make sure you sign up before the deadline.
We are the LAST CHANCE MEET in our region for new swimmers to qualify for Divisional Championships. *any new swimmer who qualifies will need to let Coach Amanda know asap and be ready to commit to going as our deadline for new qualifiers is the Sunday night of our Home Meet. Swimmers who are close to qualifying times should be having the discussion about whether or not they will go to Divisionals with their families now.
NEW!
We have added the 800m and 1500m Freestyle to our list of events. In order to accommodate that, we have added a Friday night session - please see meet package for full event schedule.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! Jobs aren't hard, and often you get the best seat in the house. With so many out of town swimmers joining us, it'll be a packed house - volunteering is the only way to guarantee you've got a seat and a view. You can sign up for officials courses under events on our website, and keep an eye out for other support positions as they become posted:
